Excellence in Action

We are incredibly proud to recognize three members of BCESD3 EMS who received a very special honor at Monday evening’s Board of Commissioners meeting.

Paramedics Celianna Flores and Taylor Cheeks, along with Advanced EMT Jeremy Progrner, were recognized as Crew of the Year by the Texas EMS for Children Program.

The award honors the crew for the exceptional care they provided to a pediatric patient under extremely difficult circumstances. Faced with a challenging emergency, the team relied on their training, clinical skills, teamwork, and commitment to their patient to provide the highest level of care when it mattered most.

The impact of their work was reflected in the child’s outcome—a powerful reminder of why preparation, training, and compassionate patient care are so important.

Please join us in congratulating Celianna, Taylor, and Jeremy on this well-deserved recognition. We are proud to have you representing BCESD3 and grateful for the difference you make in the lives of the patients and families we serve.

Congratulations on being named Crew of the Year!
