Requirements:

• Must be in good health mentally and physically
• Be of excellent character
• Hold a valid Texas Driver’s License and have a good driving record
• Be available within the immediate area at least 40% of the time
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 55, with the exception of persons with experience. The department will decide whether applicants qualify for age exceptions for experience. 
• Members must be 21 years of age to be allowed to drive any Fire Department vehicles.
