EXCITING NEWS! MANVEL'S NEW FIRE ENGINE HAS ARRIVED!

Brazoria County Emergency Services District No. 3 is excited to announce the arrival of a brand-new Spartan S-180 side-mount fire engine!

The District officially accepted the new engine on November 2, and it will soon be placed into service at the Manvel Fire Station, responding to emergency calls in the coming days.

What's happening with the current engine?

The new Spartan will replace Manvel's 2018 Pierce Saber, which will remain in the District's fleet as a reserve engine stationed at the Lakes of Savannah Fire and EMS Station. This ensures the District has additional equipment available when needed.

Supporting Our Growing Community

Over the past year, the dedicated members of the Manvel Volunteer Fire Department responded to approximately 1,270 calls for service — averaging 106 calls each month!

This new apparatus is an important investment in the equipment our firefighters rely on to serve and protect our communities.

And there's more exciting news ahead!

Danbury VFD and Iowa Colony VFD are next in line to receive their new custom fire engines later this month!

We are proud to continue strengthening emergency services throughout the District and providing our firefighters with the tools they need to serve our residents.

Congratulations to the Manvel Volunteer Fire Department on the arrival of their new engine!
