County Road 143 VFD: 

Requirements:

At least 18 years old (Junior membership available with guardian consent)

Reside within close proximity to the station

Be available for a minimum of 25% of annual calls

Hold a valid Class-C Texas Driver’s License

Danbury VFD: 

Requirements:

At least 18 years old

Reside within 2 miles of Danbury city limits

Hold a valid Driver’s License with good driving record

Able to pass background check

Demi John VFD: 

Requirements:

At least 18 years old

Reside within close proximity to the station 

Must pass background check

Hold valid Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record




Iowa Colony VFD: 

Requirements:

Active Member: 

Live within a 14 mile radius of Iowa Colony

Able to lift 50 pounds regularly

No more than 2 moving violations in the last year (must provide a copy of driving record)

No felony convictions

No convictions for crimes of moral turpitude

No serious medical conditions

Rehab Team:

18 years or older (16 & 17 with parental approval)

Valid Texas Driver’s License

Live within a 20 mile radius of Iowa Colony

Able to lift 25 pounds

No more than 2 moving violations in the last year (must provide a copy of driving record)

No felony convictions

No convictions for crimes of moral turpitude

No serious medical conditions

Liverpool VFD: 

Requirements:

At least 18 years old

Reside within close proximity to department

Be available for a minimum of 30% of annual calls

Hold a valid Class-C Texas Driver’s License

Manvel VFD: 

Requirements:

Must be in good health mentally and physically

Be of excellent character

Hold a valid Texas Driver’s License and have a good driving record

Be available within the immediate area at least 40% of the time

Must be between the ages of 18 and 55, with the exception of persons with experience. The department will decide whether applicants qualify for age exceptions for experience. 

Members must be 21 years of age to be allowed to drive any Fire Department vehicles.

Rosharon VFD: 

Requirements:

At least 18 years old

Hold valid Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record

Must pass background check

Must be in good health and good character

Must live in close proximity to the fire station
